Behavior

  • An empty offers array with success means no provider call failed and none produced an offer: for each provider asked, the aggregator either answered that no solver serves the request, or answered without a usable offer (any it sent were discarded, below) and without reporting a solver unavailable. It also comes back when no provider was asked at all, because every provider’s circuit breaker is open, so it can hide an outage.
  • Any provider error turns a round without offers into EIN0050, and refusals of the request as sent count as errors: an amount below the provider’s minimum, an exact-output request whose input would exceed maxAmountIn, a Solana source without sourceAccount. Such a request gets EIN0050, not an empty success, and retrying doesn’t change it; POST /quote answers it with EIN0008 (known issue). A provider that cannot preview at all counts as failed on every round.
  • On a token-in lane an offer’s amountIn is the slippage-widened ceiling, rounded up — the figure the wallet will be asked to approve.
  • Offers with invalid amounts, a changed fixed-side amount, or an exact-output input above maxAmountIn are discarded.

Errors

The gateway’s own refusals — a refused credential, a route not open to it, a rate limit, the hub unreachable or too slow — can come back from every route, with an EPX code and a real HTTP status (Errors — gateway codes); EIN0049 (internal, scrubbed) can come back from any route.
