The account

Any first connection creates an account: email, wallet or social. All p8ints accrue per account. Everything else in the system, qualification, the streak, caps, the leaderboard, is computed on the account, not on any individual wallet.

Wallets

  • One wallet address belongs to exactly one account, first come first served.
  • Linking happens through a real wallet connection that you control.
  • Value-based formulas compute on the summed value across all wallets linked to your account.
Holding is the one exception, and an important one: it is scored per chain. Wallets are still summed, but only within the same chain, and each chain’s result is calculated separately and then added.

Unlinking

A wallet can be unlinked. Accrual from it stops going forward, and the history it generated stays exactly as it was. Nothing is retroactively removed.

Merging duplicate accounts

If you accidentally end up with two accounts, they are merged rather than edited:
  • P8ints from both are combined.
  • The better streak survives.
  • Once-ever tasks and lifetime caps are re-checked at merge, so nothing is paid twice.
History is never rewritten to do it. The merge is itself an event on the ledger. The same tooling resolves duplicates found by anti-abuse review. See one person, one identity.
