The daily check-in runs for the first seven days of Season 0 and then stops. One check-in per UTC day, worth the same fixed amount every time: no weight, no multiplier, no streak bonus on the p8ints themselves.

Its real job

The check-in is not there for its p8ints. It is there to carry your commitment multiplier through week one. The ladder runs on capital: any UTC day you hold a position that scores is a qualifying day. $CTM holding is live from day 1, so it can carry your ladder from the open. The check-in also stands in during days 1 to 7, so an account that has not bought yet keeps its ladder intact. Miss a day in week one and the ladder resets, exactly as a missed holding day would later.

The window closes

After day 7 the button disappears and does not come back. The design is sequential, not overlapping: presence carries the ladder, then capital does.

The last check-in feeds the first spin

The daily wheel opens later in the season and draws on the previous day’s base p8ints. The check-in reaches the wheel once only, as part of the basis for the first spin. Earlier check-in days produce a basis that nothing spins on, because the wheel is not open yet.

What the check-in does not do

  • It does not count toward the five real actions that lift the multiplier cap. Checking in is not something a position cannot do by itself.
  • It is not multiplied, ever, at any streak length.
