The commitment multiplier is the streak mechanic. It rewards staying, not doing.

One ladder

It starts at x1.0 and rises by +0.1x for every completed block of 6 unbroken qualifying days, to a ceiling of x2.0. Days count continuously across seasons and across any gap between them. There is no pause and no reset at a season boundary.
This is the full ladder. The highest multiplier any account can reach arrives inside Season 1.

What a qualifying day is

Any UTC day your account holds an eligible capital position that actually scores: $CTM holding from 5 CTM, liquidity, or staking once it exists. It is passive. Leaving a position alone keeps the ladder alive. You do not need a daily transaction, and there is nothing to click. The streak is worked out when the day is settled. A position below the minimum does not qualify. The 5 CTM floor gates the streak exactly as it gates scoring. $CTM holding is live from day 1, so a scoring position can carry the ladder from the open. During days 1 to 7 of Season 0 the daily check-in also stands in for a qualifying day, which keeps the ladder reachable for an account that has not bought yet. Streak qualification uses $CTM token quantity, fixed when the position starts. A price move alone can never break your streak.

There is no grace day

One missed qualifying UTC day resets the ladder to x1.0, and counting restarts from your next qualifying day. The single exception is our own failure. An action that happened on the correct UTC day is not treated as missed because c8ntinuum settled it late or had an incident.

What the multiplier applies to

Recurring earning only: holding, liquidity, Tunnel Defense, and later trading, staking and fees. One-time p8ints always credit at x1.0 and are never multiplied: social tasks, legacy, Partner NFT community drops, destination-chain bonuses, referral fixed bonuses, every “first X” milestone, and every wheel payout.

Applied at earn time, never to a total

Each event is priced with the multiplier active on the day it was earned, and it stays priced that way forever. The multiplier is never applied to a running total. If it were, every movement in your multiplier would reprice your entire history, in both directions. Instead the multiplier lives inside the p8ints as they are credited.
