Holding pays every day you hold. It is the quietest way to earn: once the position exists, it needs nothing from you.

Scored per chain, not on one balance

This is the rule that surprises people. Holding is not scored on your combined balance across everything you own. Wallets are summed within a chain. The curve then runs on each chain separately, and the results are added. Holding on Ethereum earns its own p8ints, holding on Solana earns its own, and they stack.

The minimum

A chain needs at least 5 CTM to score. Below that it earns nothing on that chain, and it does not keep your streak alive either. The same floor gates scoring and the commitment ladder.

One read a day

Holding and liquidity are read once a day. A single job runs every 24 hours and reads every registered wallet, and the balance it finds is the balance your day is scored on. The same reading decides your streak: a position in place at or above its minimum keeps the day alive. One read, one balance, one accrual per category per day. A position opened after the day’s read scores from the next day, not the current one.

Token quantity, not dollars

Season 0 scores holding in $CTM token quantity. No price feed is involved. A price move during the season does not change anyone’s p8ints, in either direction.

One token, one category

In the day’s reading, each $CTM token is scored in exactly one category: held in a wallet it scores as holding, pooled it scores as liquidity, staked it scores as staking. This includes LP tokens and liquid staking derivatives. Nothing is counted twice.
