The wheel is the one random layer in the program. It pays a bonus calculated on what you earned the day before.
The wheel opens later in the season, with Phase 2.

How a spin is earned

One spin per qualified day. A day qualifies if the previous day carried at least one qualifying on-chain action. The first spin runs on the day before it: your holding base p8ints plus that day’s check-in. That is the only time a check-in ever reaches the wheel.

Same day only

A spin is offered on the day it is earned and it is gone at the end of it.
  • The window is 24 hours from reveal, not from midnight, so a late reveal moves the window forward rather than voiding your spin.
  • At most one spin is live on an account at any moment.
  • Nothing banks. There is no backlog, no claim order, and no queue of expired spins to work through.
If you do not take the spin inside its window, it lapses. That is the whole rule.

The basis

A spin pays a multiple of your basis: the sum of base p8ints from the previous UTC day’s confirmed events, in the categories that feed the wheel. That is check-in, holding, liquidity and Tunnel Defense. The basis is taken straight from the ledger, before bonuses and before your multiplier. Excluded in full: legacy, social p8ints, Partner NFT community drops, weight effects, percentage bonuses, the commitment multiplier, boosters, destination-chain bonuses, referral p8ints, every fixed and milestone bonus, manual adjustments, and previous wheel rewards. One consequence worth knowing: the basis reads your uncapped base, so a day where your category cap bound still spins on the full amount you generated.

The outcomes

Outcomes range from nothing at all to several times your basis, with a ceiling on what a single spin can pay.
  • A result that pays nothing means exactly that: no bonus. Base p8ints are never removed, ever. The wheel cannot cost you anything.
  • A payout credits at x1.0. It is excluded from multipliers and boosters, and it never touches your commitment ladder.
  • The wheel does not count toward the five real actions.

Verifiable randomness

The wheel is designed around a commit-reveal mechanism: a seed commitment is published before play and the corresponding seed is revealed after the relevant spins close. This structure is designed to make the draw independently verifiable by allowing the revealed seed to be checked against the commitment published beforehand.

After the season

The wheel does not stop when a season ends. The program is always on, so activity on the last day of a season earns a spin on the first day of the next one.
